Saint Monica's Mission
This mission began close to home. My nephew Josh struggled with pornography for years before finding freedom. Out of that journey, he founded Ethos National to help others break free from the same addiction.
Watching God work through Josh's story moved me deeply, and I felt called to something alongside his work: to intercede for the purity, safety, and spiritual well-being of the next generation, while also praying for those already caught in a struggle. Like Saint Monica, who prayed faithfully for her son for over seventeen years before seeing him come to faith, my goal is to pray for all youth with that same faithfulness.

A mission that started close to home
A friendship that turned into a calling
Sue and I became friends when our boys’ school offered a Bible study for moms. Our shared faith and family life (both of us have three boys) brought us together.
During this time, Sue and I often talked about the challenges of parenting, especially the online dangers facing our boys. We found it incredibly discouraging and, at times, overwhelming to see how frequently today's youth are bombarded with sexual images and unhealthy portrayals of sexuality.
Sue asked me to join her in weekly prayer for the collapse of the pornography industry. I happily accepted the challenge, and we have been praying the Rosary together every week since June 2026.
We recently added the Divine Mercy Chaplet as well.
This commitment to weekly prayer has been a true blessing in my life. Knowing that others may be counting on me to show up gives me a sense of responsibility and keeps me committed. Most importantly, praying alongside friends has continually reassured me of the strength and power that faith brings to a community. What began as a friendship through a Bible study has grown into a shared mission of prayer, hope, and action for our children and for those struggling with pornography and addiction.
